We’re back!
Opening convo at Centre College was this past Sunday. We welcomed new colleagues, a new dean, and began the long good bye to our college president, John Roush, who has served at the college for over twenty years now.
It brings the usual excitement – Tara was downright giddy on Monday – and we also have a new intern! You will be hearing from her before too long.
We will have a podcast episode later in the week, and blog posts to come from Tara and from me. The History program is offering a wide slate of classes this term, with the usual surveys in global and US history as well as classes focused on twentieth century China, Europe in the early to mid twentieth century, African film, environmental history, public history and the American Revolution. We look forward to sharing, so come on by as the semester goes on!
